A Little Sand

Oh why must you?
These boys just make fun out of everything.
Fortunately for me they rode their bikes home
to clean up.
Poor Katie---if it is not sand to clean up,
it is dirt, sheep, or cow smelly mess.

Checking The Bovine Around Here

Last Sunday afternoon was a beautiful spring day, so I rode around in the pickup with David to check two age-groups of Jersey heifers and the beef cows.  The grass was green and lush.  Our place can look pretty rugged in the winter time, but oh how it changes about April.

Notice how the girls all gather around David...every where he goes they do that....I tell ya, he is just a "Chick Magnet".  Where he goes they just follow.  ROFL - Enjoy the rest of the pictures while I continue to laugh.

I'm back and I just wanted to say:
David was a cow man when I met him, and a cow man he has remained.
I wouldn't want him any other way, cause me and the cows make him happy.
I am proud to be a country girl!!

HELLO!!

I say, "Hello pretty spring flowers".  The beauty of nature.
Sometimes, you don't have to do anything.
They just show up.  How refreshing.

Texas Time

We went to Texas a week or so ago and I got to see another soccer game.  Gracie is the blonde with the pony tail - #4.  She is a go-getter.  It is already really warm, no HOT, in Texas....especially if you are running and playing soccer.

Gillan is not playing this spring session, but he still likes to see Gracie's games.

The coach, my first born, is Gracie and Gillan's daddy. He is Intense, he comes by it naturally.

Gracie was so excited about getting to go home and spend the night with her friend after the soccer game. They are the same age, but her friend has grown faster than she has.....you will catch up Gracie.  I hope you had a great time.
We had a short, but good visit and we got to see the new house.  It is a really nice home, and I am looking forward to another visit real soon.
