Oh "Deer"!

The deer have really taken up residency here lately.  They have always been around, but now they think this is their home....and I am perfectly okay with that.  I first saw these two fawn outside my big window...running towards the front yard...and there they stayed for a while.  I snapped these photos from the narrow window by the front door.  They didn't seem to mind that I snapped several pictures.  I only got one shot (picture you know) of the one below, because she moved out of my view.  I knew they would leave if I dared to open the door.  A camera is the only thing we use around here to "shoot" deer.

This one gave a glance to see if it was safe.
Then she or he??--went on about his or her business.
Just another reason to enjoy country life!

Talented Granddaughter Too!!

So much talent in my family......wonder why I didn't get any of it?
Granddaughter Gracie on YouTube.  She is singing in her church in Texas.
Gracie's brother has been singing and playing the guitar for a while,
and Gracie has been singing for a while too, but she is now coming
into her own....singing solo.

You will find several videos on YouTube of the two together
and some with Aunt Katie.

I know you would never guess that she is a Texan!!!

Enjoy!

Fun Times On the FARM

The grandkids always head to the big round bales first when they go to the dairy.  Nathan really wanted on the bales (for the first time), but quickly was ready to get down.

Now he really wants to drive this thing above.
Okay....cows are in the shade....let's get out of here.
It is too hot!!  I have a vision of the house....air conditioner,
YES!
They all hung a right at the end of the fence and went to the Osburn
house for a drink of water and cool off a minute.

These two stopped to play with the kittens instead of
going right in the house......They both love kitty cats!!
