Texas Grands

I was able to spend my birthday with the Texas folks again this year.  I can't believe how much Gillan and Gracie are growing and maturing......way to fast.  Did I mention they are always busy too.  Gillan is playing 7th grade intramural football and in a soccer league, as well as taking choir in school and private guitar lessons.  Gracie plays soccer and is in the 5th grade.  She takes piano lessons, and she could probably start her own gymnastics classes.  You will see why later.  The whole family attends church regularly and participates in other church related activitiesMiss "Gabby" the family dog had to join in on the photo shoot.

Poor grandma....that would be me.  I always take my camera with me....and I did this time too.  But, we went to one football game, and two soccer games Saturday morning/afternoon....and guess who did not remember to take the camera along?  So, I took these pictures back at the apartment.

Look how tall they both are getting!  I think some of the Boyer genes are coming out in Gillan.

Gracie loves and I mean loves horses.  The family is currently living in an apartment while a new house is in the process of being built.  The first "want" on Gracie's list is a horse, of course.  But, for now she spends time at this fence admiring and talking to the neighbor's horses.  We saw five horses and they are all really pretty.  The dark one just behind Gracie's left shoulder is her favorite.  I told her I would be getting acquainted with those neighbors if I were her.
This horse was pretty sweet too!

Gracie, Rudy, Gillan, and David (Grandpa) are checking out the beginning signs of the building project.  There is enough land for a horse....Yeah for Gracie!
Gracie throws the football to Gillan to practice for the game.
Serious little dude -- and he is lovin' football.

Can you do a forward and backward one handed flip?
Gracie can!!!!
