More Snow Pictures - What Else Is There?

Just in case you missed it--Oklahoma has been blasted with a blizzard consisting of a thick layer of sleet followed by several inches of snow this past week, and record breaking single digit to sub-digit temperatures. As soon as the so called blizzard past, we were hit with  another day of continuous snow fall.  What a beautiful snow it was, but five days in the house without venturing out, other than a trip to the mail box and a short ride to see grandkids (on the same property) is enough to make a person go crazy.  But hey, doesn't the sky look like it is just waiting to do more?

This picture was taken this morning just because the snow was glistening.  It was beautiful and the picture does not do it justice.
Yesterday Nathan experienced the snow and loved it.  He had to be carried in crying not because it was blistering cold, although it was, but because he loved playing in it.   There is my little snow buddy, just before the tears.

And up the climbing wall he goes with a little help from Mom...of course, Grandma took pictures from the porch, because she is a wimp and thought it was too cold to even be outside - yes, that would be me.  Look at that snow coming down!!!!  Big flakes!

Looks like my little Armadillo is surviving well from the snow and is on stand by, but I don't know what he is on standby for.

Nathan just had to slide down a few times on the snow packed slide...whee e!!
I loved the beautiful blue sky out the dining room window this morning and the temperature was much more suitable....there has been significant melting today, just in time to brace for the next upcoming snow forecast.  The best thing about this storm is that we kept electrical power.....YEAH!!!!!  That makes a huge difference in the personal comfort level of all.
