The End To A Good Week

This was the last night the Texas kids had to
hang around and have fun before heading home.
The clouds moved in and the temperature cooled
down a bit, so we all headed outside.
Basketball and chalk art started the evening off.
I am not sure who made this piece of art, but
Nathan enjoyed working on it.
Since it says "Mommy" I think it was Andrew.
If you can't tell, they were all pretty kicked back.
Grandpa even "rested" his eyes for a moment.

Can you tell what Josh's favorite thing is now?
Can you?
Gracie, Nate, and Shadow are talking it over with
Grandpa.
Besides basketball, chalk art, and playing with the dog,
a mud hole was found and guess who got in it.
Nathan, of course....he can spot them a mile away.
Shortly after all of this fun, a beautiful rainbow
appeared.
How special, how soothing, how beautiful.
Then out of no where came a skunk trailing across
the front yard.....the dog got involved.....Katie was
near by on the phone close to the skunk. Can you guess the rest?
The skunk sprayed the dog, the dog rolled in the grass
and the rest of us ran in the garage.
Bless Gracie, she took the dog back to
her pen, and that ended our evening outside.
But, have no fear....these kids know how to play.

From the baby to the adult the
serious play dough creations began.
Creativeness at work!
No skunk is going to spoil our fun.
We can all run pretty fast.
