Side - Stepping

I am side-stepping the Cleveland post, Part II for now.  I wanted to share some things about Gracie-my only granddaughter.  It has been a long time (seems like) since I have seen my Gracie girl.  She had been letting her hair grow out the last time I did see her - and it was really getting long, as you can see below.

She did get a haircut a few months ago.

Isn't this a cute new hairdo?  Gracie had gone without a haircut for a very long time and she was doing it for a very good cause. She donated her hair to "Locks of Love".  www.locksoflove.org  Isn't that just about the sweetest thing an 11 year old could do?

Gracie is really on my mind today.  She text this morning that the family dog, "Gabby" stayed outside last night and she was attacked by something.  They don't know what.  Gabby is still at the vets office where she is being treated.  They think she will be okay, but I know my little "grand" girl is concerned.

Here is "Gabby" above with Gillan and Gracie.  Get well soon Gabby!

Three cheers for Gracie. Some person is going to get a mighty pretty wig because of her generosity. Goodness trickles down through the generations. What you did with your children years ago is modeled by their children. Good on you and your guy. Prayers for Gabby! Chris Hubbard
