I visited the grandkids in Texas about a week ago. We had a good time. We played several games of some "mean" checkers. Gracie is so competitive! I have always been that same way when it comes to games. My sister has always thought Gracie reminded her of me when I was a little girl in looks and I assume actions. As Gracie and I were seriously into our game, I looked into her eyes and saw myself for the first time. I do believe she has a hint of her grandma in there.

Both kids showed me several of their acrobatics.....I used to be able to stand on my head too! I was not about to get into that competition. I now know my physical limitations..........getting old is tough...I hurt my knee just getting down in the floor one to many times. But, hey--I did beat both of them in a game or two of checkers.
