I feel like I have been attacked by the Jolly Green Giant. Do you believe how big these okras are?
The plants were so bushy that we had to cut the lower leaves off just to be able to get to them.
It is hard to see it in the pictures, but some of them are a foot or two taller than I am. I have to stretch my arms all the way up and bend the big old stalks over just to reach the okra to cut them.
The pictures definitely do not do the plants justice. I have never seen anything like it. The variety is "Star of David". The pods of okra are tender and taste good, but they are so big.

Oh - My Goodness!! I have never seen anything like this!!! You could do a "maze" with these plants.
